Joseph met in regular session I on February 5, 1959 with all members present. A Motion was made by councilman Schneider and seconded by Councilman Pfannenstein to accept the minutes of the January meeting as reaƒ. Hotion carried. Motion was made to pay bills as presented: Northern States Po\"er & lights 252.98 Bell Telephone Serivee 23.00 Nick Borresch Police salary 223. 50 Nick Borresch Auto expense 50.00 state Treasurer PERA . 16.50 First State Agency Add. prem on workmen's Compo 45.78 First state Bank Water bill collections 7.60 Ray Krebsbach fuel oil 72.35 Barney's Suver Service parts & labor 29.80 Hiller Davies Clerk supplies 5.67 Sec. of state Fire trk plates, fees 2.00 Jake Schneider Skating rink caretaker 189.90 Bill Pfannenstein labor 29.00 R. ,,<I. Teague Planning comm. service 25.00 Bob Johnson Ref. on Fire trk Lic. 3.50 Bob Johnson clerk salary 50.00 I A motion was made by Councilman Schneider and seconded by Councilman Botz to accept and approve the Park Terrace Plot. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Botz and seconded by Councilman Schneider to approve annual Financial statement.- motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Botz and seconded by Councilman Schneider to adopt dog ordinance No. 51 submitted for approval by village attorney. Attorney to submit ordinance for publication. A motion ,.¡as made by Councilman Pfannenstein and seconded by Councilman Scp~eider to appoint Julian Botz as cou~ci1 representative on the Vill?ge Planning Commission. . A motion waS made by Councilman Pfannenstein and seconded by Cou~cil- man Botz to approve the purchase of fire dpt. supplies (valves) as requested by Chief Roman Zwack. JOSEPH, MINNESOTA MI~ruTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 12, 1959 The Vil13ge Co~mcil met in special session on February 12, 1959 upon request of College of st. Benedict and st. John's University repre- -" sentatives. County Sheriff Peter Lahr was in cttendance. Council members present were: Mayor Oscar Krebsbach, COlIDcilman Herman ----- Schneider, Attorney John Knapp and Clerk Bob Johnson. The problem of Li~or & beer consumption by students in local establish- ments was fully discussed. The Village Attorney was instructed to inform local propreitors of this meeting and/include a notice that in the event of a conveiction a suspension of 20 days will be imposed - a third conviction will result in the revocD.tion of license.
