NI}WTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON NOVill~3ER 5, 1959
The Village Council of the village of St. Joseph met in regular session
on Nov. 5, 1959 with all members present.
Claude Crever, representing an anti-flourdation group along with memberx
signers of a petition to have the question offloridation placed on -.
ballot for election were present. The village attorney agreed to seek
a ¡egal 9pinion fß!Dm the Attorne¥ General ~egarding such a vote. . If'..the
oplnlon 18 negat1ve the equlp. wlll be actlvated as per previous council vote.
A motion was made by H. Schneider and seconded by Dave Pfannenstein to
accept the minutes of the Oct. meeting as read.
A motion ¡'TaS made by Julian Botz and seconded by H. Schneider apTroving
the classification of the county board on tax forfeit land between
Tony Reber and William Reber.
A motion ¡vas made by J. Botz and second"d by H. Schneider to pay bills
as presented:

A motion was made by J. Botz and seconded by 11. Schneider to deny the
request by Harold Rothfork (presented by Oscar ~rebsbach) to (eep several
steers v7i thin the vil10ge limits (mill site) for experimentDl purposeà
vTi th one to be donated to the churcb for the 4th of July.
A motion vms made by D. Pfannenstein and seconded by J. Botz to appoint
the following to serve on the election board for the annual ùillage
election on Dec. 8, 1959:
Mrs. Irene Rassier, Helen Reber, John Klein Dnd Mrs. Herman Schneider,
