I The Village Council of the Village of St. Jo~eph met in regular
session at the Village Hall on April 6, 1954 at the hour of ~;OO P.M.
All members of the council ~pre present$
Thè'minute~ of thp meeting of March 2, 1954 were read and motion
made by Reynold Kellner to accept them as read. Sec. by Virgil
LOdermeiAr, Carried.

Motion made by Virgil Lodermeier that all dogs in the Village be
tied from April 15 to Sept. 15 And ordered same be published in the
St. Cloud Time/=!. Sec. by Reynold Kellner, Carried.
Motion made by Reynold Kèllner to acce~t the sec~rities consisting
of U.S.A. Treasury Bonds in the amount of ~30,000.OO due 12-15-59-62
offered by tae First State Bank, qt. Joseph, Minn. as collateral to
secure Village deposits and that the First National Bank of Minneapolis
be designated as the place for safekeeping of the bonds. Sec. by
Julian Botz, Carried.
Motion made by Reyhold Kdllner to approve the sketch submitted by
the Minnesota 'itate Highway Department for the proposed rearrangement
of the two fire hydrants located on the right of vJaY of the new Highway
# 52. Sec. by Virgil Lodermeler, Carried.
Motion made by Reynold Kellner to have the clerk notify the V.F.W.
and American Legion Clubs that the practice of having their doors open
to the public must be discontinued or lose of license will result.

Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of Village Council
Vj.llage of St. Joseph, Stearns County, Minnegota
April 6, 1954
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a re~llar meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of St. Joseph, Minnesota was dul, held in the
Village HsIl in said Village on AprU. 6J 195~<
The following members we.re present: Oscar J. Krebsbach, Wm. Meinz, Julian I
Botz, Reynold Kellner and Virgil Lodermeier. None were absent.
Wm. Meinz, the Village clerk, then resd to the meeting a letter from
the Department of Highways, State of Minnesota, with reference to
rearrangement of Village owned utilities which are now located on the rig
of way of S~ p~ 7311-29 (T.H. No. 52) in St. Joseph, Minnesota, together
with a sketch showing the proposed rearrangement of the utilities.
.After a careful gtudy of the sketch snët a ful] jJ.scussion Reynold Kellner
introduced the. following resolution and moved for its adoption.
RESOLUTION APPROVING REARRANGEMENT OF VILLAGE OWNED UTILITIES
LOCATED ON THE RIGHT OF WAY OF S. P. 7311-29(T. H. No. 52)
IN ST. JOSEPH, MINNESOTA AS PER SKETCH SUBMITTED BY THE MINNESOTA
STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT.
Whereas, the Minnesota State.Highway Department will provide all workman-
ship, materials, and inspections.
Whereas, all watermain extentions will be made with 6" cast iron pipe
with mechanicaljointso
Whereas, the MiDnesota State Highway Dep~rtment will assume all costs of
workmanship and material.-

:for all fu ture maintenance of the utili ties moved. ,
Now therefore be it resolved by the Villaze Council of the Village of
St. Joseph in Stearns County, Minne~ota, that they hereby concur and
approve the rearrangement of Village owned utilities located on the
right of way of 8. p. 7311-29 (T. H. No. 52) in 8t. JOAeph¡ Minnesota
as per sketch subml tted by the Minnesota state Highi,.¡ay Department.
The motion .was duly . seconded by Virgil Lodermeier,anduponvotehelng
taken thereon, all members present voted in favor.thereof ,wher~upo~
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopt§d.. .
