Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Council. January 4. 1955
The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in session at the
I Village Hall on Danuary 4. 1955 at the hour of 8;00 P.M. All members
of the Council were prsesent.
The minutes of the meeting of December 9 were read and motion made
by Virgil Lodermeier to accept them as read. seconded by JUlian Botz.
The annual Village financial statement for the year 1954 was presented
by the clerk and motion ~de by Julian Botz to approve the statement as
presented and that it be pUblished in the St. Joseph Dispatch. seconded
by Virgil Lodermeier.
The oaths of office were taken by Virgil Lodermeier. Herman Schneider
a.nd Mrs. N. J. Wandel' to, the offices of clerk. trus8èe and asseSSÐr.
At this point the meeting was turned over tm the new clerk. Virgil
Ilodermeier.

Motion made by Julian Botz to pay all bmlls. second by Herman Scr~eider,
Motion carried.

met at the village ot discuss the expenses at the skatlng r:nk.. Co~nc:1
agreed to share the expenses. Reynold Kellner made the motlon and uu11an

Julian Botz made the motion to appoint Reynold Kellner as t~p acting
Maypr in the absence of the Mayor, Herman Scr~eider seconded the
motion. I

Application was made by Lawrence LOBo of the Midway Bar to transfer
the On Sale Liquor license and the business of the Midway Bar from
I,awrence Loso and l~rt c. Sauer to Lawrence Loso. Motion was made by
Reynold Kellner to approve the transfer, seconded by Julian Botz.

Ther being no further businnes Julian Botz IDbde the motion to adjourn.
