Minutes of the Meeting of the Village CouncËl, July 5, 1955
The Village Council ~f the Village of St. Joseph met in regular ses-
I sion at the Village Hall on July 5, 1955 at the hour of 8 P¥. All Mem-
bers of the council were present. by Kellner
TIle minutes of the June 7 meeting were read and motion was made to
accept the minutes as read! seconded by Herman Schneider.
Mr. Bergerson and Mr. Hart representing the Bergerson-Caswell Inc.,
a well drilling and repair company explained to the council their method
of cleaning and repairing wells. Mr. Johnson representing the McCarthy
Well Co. also gave an account of their methods in well repair.
Aftter discussion it '\vas decided to employ the Bergerson-Cas'tV'ell Inc., /// ,./--
to repair the St. Joseph \>Tell. ../
Wilfred Schwegel asked løf the Council to vacate a street west of his
~roperty which is no longer in use. (Between Block 2 & 3 in Loso's ~th)
is petition was granted by the village Council.
Council recommended that the storehouse in back of the Village Hall be
painted. 2 coats.
