The Village Cou~cil of the Village of St. Joseph ~et in special session
at the Village hall on January 19 at t'e hour of b . All me"b.ers of

Mr. 'Bill Daniel representin,[,' the Northern, Stat,esPcwer Co. explained I,
the need of 2 neì-'¡ 2.nd 1 lig}·t to be changed to a lctrger type for the
Village. The first large liGht is to be placed on the new portion of
Ei[Jl1.oJay 52 ancl, the intersection of Io'\'m street '\·.¡here a nm'! road '\:ras
constructed last fall. On Wisconsin street, in front of St. Benedict's
Nr. Daniel pointed out that only 1 s1'1al1 ligbt there provi(1ed very
little illuflination and recommended? - 10,000 lumen lights. The coun-
cil in body inspected bot.h place at ö:30 He. Julian Botz made a move
to have the new lights installed by the Northern States Fower Co. as
soon as posi ble, seconded by Herman Scb,neider. A correcticn of [')"other
liEht east of St. Benedict's was also asked for and . Daniel agreed.

31!. 8: 2 throuGh t:he Ville.ge of St. Joseph. The resolution approving
tl1.e revoking of extension of State Aid Road No. 2 1;JaS also passed.
Resolutions-filed under 'Streets'· Herman Schneider made a-motion to
approve the 3 resolutions, seconded by Julian Bctz.
