MI1~TES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JULY 7, 1960
a regular meeting of the village council of the Village of St. Joseph
was held on July 7, 1960. All members vlere present.
Minutes o~all meetings held in June were read. A motion was made by
Don Rau and seconded by Christ Pallansch to accept minutes as read.,
A motion was made by Herman Schneider and seconded by Christ Pallansch
to pay bills as presented:

~ommunications were read.
A motion was made by Don Rau and seconded by Herman Schneider to allow
request by Krebsbach Motors to erect new sign west of the present sign
location.
Don Rau called attention to the need ~or additional restrictions
on speed on the Cold Spring ,road within the village limits. It ,vas
dBcided local police would attempt curbing violators.
Recommendations regarding recreation program submitted by Chuck
P~annenstein, summer recreation program director, were read.

Hr. Kierzelc inquired about developmeffts regarding alley adjoining the
Walz- Kierzek properties. Council advised }~. Kierzek that alley
would b~opened after all legal questions regarding the property
'V1ere ansv1ered.
Members of the Creamery board were in attendance regarding the
water main Improvement petition. Board members were assured by council
village could supply adequate amount of water for their use at
creamery under present conditions.
A question regarding licensing of bowling laneswas discussed. Council
stated such a license or ordinance would not be necessary at the pre-
sent time.
A representative from the firm of Moody & Springsted, bond consul-
tants, was present.
Discussion on bond issue took place. The representative explained
the services extended by Moody & Springsted.
A motion ¡vas made by Christ Pallansch and seconded by Herman Schneider
toĊcord storm sewer easements not previously recorded.
