JOSEPH, l'ITNNESOTA The Board of Revievl of the Village of St. Joseph met on June 2, 1971 at I 7:30 p.m. with the following members present: Mayor George Gustin, Herman Schneider, Roman Reber, John Schroeder, Bob Johnson. (Absent Bud Reber) also present were county assessor Cy Wenner and Asst. Junie Weisbrick. r Others present were: Aloysious Reis~nger and Max Kuebelbeck. Mr::. Reisinger ,requested information regarding special assessments and was asked to attend regular council meeting on June 10 to receive the information requested. Max Kuebelbeck claimed market value placed on home located at 111 - 1st Ave N .vi. (non homestead) to be too high. Village assessor Ollie Lesnick pre- sented the following information regarding the Kuebelbeck property: 28' by L,8' size - 12X 2L, garage - valued on a $10.00 per sq ft basis - total value placed at $15,003. Assessor Lesnick indicated he felt value placed on home was not high. No reduction was made by board. Assessor Lesnick presented personal property list for council review and e~amination. Ed and Sa1 Schneider were present; Ed Schneider presented complaint: bCD_eved lots abutting treatment plant area valued too high. Lots 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - are valued at $500.00 each Lots 16 - 17 at $450.00 lots are improved with sewer and water available. Ed Schneider claimed lots were not saleable because of their location. I Assessor Lesnick stated he considered lot values reasonable as area was not limited to residential.
