NnruTEs OF SPECIAL VILLAGE HEETING HEIJD ON HAY 1, 1962
The village council of the village of st. Joseph met in special
session on May 1, 1962 with the following members present: Zwack, I
Schneider, Pallansch, Rau and Jo~~son.
O. C. Dierkhising appeared before the council ond stated be vlOuld
relinquish the off-sale liquor license presently issued to Catherine
Dierkhising (spouse). Mr. Dierkhising asked the council to consider
the verbol application of Harvey Sch'\<rartzbauer for said license
for use in establishnent kno~m as the former Stockinger residence
north of highway. 52.
A motion was made by Herman Schneider and seconded by Rau that
off-sale licence presently held by Catherine Dierkhising would
not be re-issued at this time. A Qnaninmous vote wos cast for the
motion.
A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Schneider to approve
bldg and sewer permits of the follo~dng: Peter Meier, residence;
Arnold Lauer, work shop; Juiliian Botz, garage addition; Al Pfannenstein
ðhouse trailer & sewer permit.
Dave Pfannenstein appeared before the council requesting council
consideration regarding transfer of licences at est8blishment
known as Dave's Silver Dollar to Stan Peters of Monticello, Minn.
A motion was made by Pallansch and seconded by Schneider to approve
the applica tions of Hr. Peters "I..d th the condition reference cbecks I
prove favorable. Motion carried:
