Liquor License – : Authorize issuance of the
following liquor licenses for Bad Habit Brewing: Intoxicating on sale 3.2 and special Sunday; Wine and
Strong Beer; Intoxicating Off Sale Brew Pub

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The City Council previously amended the City Ordinance to
allow the issuance of Brew Pub Licenses.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Bad Habit Brewing has submitted an application for the above
mentioned liquor licenses. The Police Department has completed the background check and is
recommending the Council issue the licenses as requested.
The owner of Bad Habit Brewing is in the process of remodeling their suite which is located at the
Millstream Shops and Lofts. They anticipate opening sometime in September.

In conducting a background check of AARON MICHAEL RIELAND,
JAMES ERVIN ILLIES, SCOTT GERALD MACIEJ,
RYAN RICHARD NOTHNAGEL, AND RYAN JOHN
SCHULZETENBERG, DBA: Bad Habit Brewing Company LLC,no
information was found to prohibit them from obtaining a liquor license as per Minnesota state
sta.tute § 340A.402.
