MI}WTES OF SPEOIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MAY 12, 1966
The Village Council met in special session on May 16, 1966 with
the following members present: Lodermeier, Schneider, Wieber, I
Reber and Johnson.
Purpose of meeting to ~t upon variance request of Delphin Horsch.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals by majority vote
recommended variance be granted with the following provisions
attachedr (1)' business be located no more than 25 ft from alley
line abutting rear of pro~erty, (2') all signs be located in rear
of property with business; and (3) no issuance of beer license to
Delphin Horsch in conduct of the business or at the locatiohin
question.
All objectors and objections, also Dose foavoring the granting of
variance were again heard.
After a lengthy discussion in which all parties present desiring
the floor were heard: a motion was mac'e by Schneider seccnde-d by
Reber to approve granting of vairance with provisions attached,
motion carried.
Reber to check compliance by arplicant of provisions included.
Bill Loso questiöned Donovan removal of 12 ft. of driveway at
quonset warehouse--Engineer Teague to check com~int. I
Motion maòe by Wieber seconded by Schneider to approve the fol-
lm,ring liquor licenses:' Claude l1teJllzhuber--A.G. Walz (El Paso
Club and Lanes) off and on-sale;' Reuben Wiener (Midway Bar)
off and on-sale; Catherine Dierkhising, La Playette Lounge, off
and on-sale;' Helen Jaren (Jaren Pharmacy), off-saler V..F.W. and
Legion Posts, (club licences) on--sale. Motion carried unanimous]y.,
Toilet facility construction at ball ~rk discussed with Counter.
Motion mace by Reber seconded by Wieber to approve bUilding and
sewer permit of Harold Counter (McAlonie :esidence) Lot 15 Park
Terrace as per plans submitted.
Krebsbach Motor Co. tank installation question discussed--additional
gas pump east side abutting alley.
Jerry Johnson question of renting out basement in Park Terrace resm-
dence examined--zoning ordinance question--
Motion made by Wieber seconded by Reber to approve fire contract
between Village and st. Joseph Township.
Discussion held with Nidk Borresch--employment question--reap-
praisal to ùe made at regular June meeting. I
Motion made by Wieber ~conded by Reber to approve application of
Helen Loso (Loso Store) to erect business sign~
