The Village Council of the Villa e of st. Joseph met in regular sessIon 01
Thursday, Oct. 6, 1966 v1i th the follO\.ving memrers present: Lodermeier,
Schneider, rteber, Wieber, Johnson and Attorney John Knapp.

Bottle club operations discussed--Attorney John Knapp to examine legality
of La Playette aòvertisement relating to set-ups.
Applications for non-intoxicating malt liquor, cigarettes and dance
permit were presented by Margaret Scoles (Silver Dollar Bar)
On a motion by Reber seconded by Schneider the applications of Margaret
Scoles were arproved with the following provisions:
a) Applicant to provide adequate police protection.

Joe Prom questioned parking in alley abutting Harold Reber property--
no tickets to be issued for parking in this specific area.
Dave Pfannenstein presented comp~aint of low are~in street fronting his
residence--1year project qUar~ntee explained.
Mrs. ~ohanna Staller presented problem of low water pressure at resi- I
dence--water dept. to examjne meter.
Jerry Rennie p~esent to discuss water line extension to skating pond
site. Motion made by Wieber seconded by Schnejder to install 2 in.
plastic water line at $l.DO per ft. plus material. Motion carried.
Attorney John Knapp presented ordinance annexatjng School Dis'rict
1912- property to Village.
Motion rrwde by Reber seconded by vJieber to accept Of'dinance 1966 A-
annexation of School district property to Villape of st. Joseph.
Motion carried.
Building permjt appIDoved to ltill Gohman for school construction.
Attorney John Knapp to examine possibility of adopting gas ordinance
by reference.
Attorney to prepare contract between Vill~fe and Police Chief Lorentz;
clerk to pDovide information.
Motion made by Schneider secondpd by Wieber to pay bills as presented.
Motion by Wieber seconded by Reber to approv~ payment o~ side~'lalk I
installation credit of 6~per foot for 78 feet as presented by Ray
Krebsbach. \
The following election judges have been approved to serve Nov.8,1966:

House number project approved by council as contDct group project.
Additional street light ing for Park Terrace area tabled for spring
survey by NSP.
Sr. Beth request for hall use for recreation 8p~roved by council.
