MI~~TES· OF REGULAR VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 7, 1965
The village council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular sess-
ion on Oct.. 7, 1965 with the following members preseht: LOdermeier, I'
S-chneider, Re~er, Wieber, Meinz, Johnson, Attorney John Knapp and
Engineer R. W. Teague.
Minute·s of the previous meeting were approved as read. Action
relating to bids on Street Improvement No 1965 included in add-
ition to minutes prepared by Attorney John Knapp.
Report of public hearing on Art Reber variance ~uest~on presented.

Motion made by Reber seconded by Wieber to grant variance and
permit to Art Reber as per application.
Tree re-planting at plant question to be examined by Roman Reber.
Discussion of street surfacing held with Engineer Teague.
St. Bens entrance catch basin site postponed for year of further
observation. /1
Estimate No 2 on street improvement project presented by Engineer
Teague..

Motion made by Wieber seconded by Reber to pay estimate No. Z to
Donovan Contracting.
Al Hoffman, Township representative, requested meeting of council,
town board and fire department regarding Township fire protection
and condition of farm fund. Meeting set forB p.m. Oct. 14 1965
at village hall.
Motion made by Schneider seconded by Wieber to pay bills as presented.
Motion ~ade by Reber seconded by Wieber to approve building permit
application of O. C. Dierkhising.

Motion made by Reber seconded by Wieber to appoint Irene Rassier,
Mrs. Herman Schneider, Helen Reber and alternate Max Meyer as I
election judges for village election on Nov. 2, 1965.
