The Village council of the Village of St. Joseph meiin special session
I on Monday Jan. 23, 1967 with the follmwing members present:Lodermeier,
Schneider, Reber, Sc:t):Toeder and Rohnson.,
Meeting scheduled with st. Joseph and St. Wendel township representa-
tives regarding Township fire protection. Representing St~ Joseph
Tovmship were Ed B¢aden, Leander Meyer, Wilfr~d Kremer, \4., Eikmeier;
for st. Wendel Township: Terwey and utsch'Îl(n~j
A review of pasrmeetin\ and correspondence relating to Township fire
protection~ was held. Financial reTort for 1966 pres0nted and examined.
The estimated amount of $2500.00 1.¡as accepted for the 1967 fire protection
budget.

The 1966 fire contract accepted by both ~ownships with ddition of con-
tract continuious but renewable each year clause~
Dick Schroeder village recreation chairman, presented question of st.
Joseph Township contribution to summer recreation program. Town board
members were not favorable to assessment for recreation.1rndicated a
preference toward a fee bosis.
All parties agreed the fire protection meeting would be scheduled on
an annual basis approximately the same date in January.
On a motion by Schneider seconded by Schroèder the bUilding permit appli-
I cation of Great Plains Supply for front improvement was approved.
