MINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 9, 1967

I ~he Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular sessWpm
Qn March 9, î967 with the following members present: Lodermeier, Schneider,
~eber, Schroeder, Johnson, Attorney John Knapp.
Minutes of previous meetings approved as read.
A motion was made by Schneider seconded by Reber to pay bills LS presented.
Alfred Rennie, cemetery association represent0tive, presented question of
water line extension from new school sità to cemetery to eliminate
present system 6f 200 ft. of service line above ground. Al Rennie to
contact Jerry Rennie for 80st estimate.
Planning firm meeting to be reset for March 21 or 22. Planning commi-
ssion to be notified.
Sto~ sewer questions re-examined. Stueve garage problem and county
road north of highway at Bovy residence listed as most critical areas.
Semi-truck traffic at alley entrance abutting Burg property--trespassing
complaint presnted. Problem to be discussed with Krebsbach Motors.
Excessive sp~ed of traffic on West Minnesota St. to be checked by
Chief Lorentz.
Student parking problem during snow removal--wrecker tow service and
I miscellaneous snow removal questions examined by council. Trustees Reber
and Schroeder to re-examine and evaluate present snow removal ordinance-
report and recommodations to be presented to council.
On motion by Reber seconded by Schroeder the application of Mathias J.
Gillitzer for fire dept. membership was approved.
Hall floor covering question tabled--Lorentz to secure extimates.
Area community police protection question tabled for further stpdy.
Discussion of street seal ceating, building to house trucks & equip-
ment and filtration unit held.
Motion made by Schroeder seconded by Reber to pressnt these questions to
engineer Teagve--engineer to be invited to next regulhr meeting April 6.
Attorney Knapp reported on David Scoles question: complaint signed for sale of
non-intoxicating liquour to minors.
Building permit fee increase tabled until next meeting.
