MINUTES OF SPECIAL SESSSION OF VILLAGE <D UNCIL HELD ON Nov. 2, 1967
I The Village Council met in special session on Thursday, Nov. 2, 1967
with the followiing members present: LodeTIfieier, Schneider, Reber,
Schroeder, Meinz and ijohnson.
Prþposed tax levy information examined and reviewed by council. Tax
levy to be made at regular Nov. meeting--Nov. 9, 1967.
On Motion by Schneider seconded by Reber, Clerk was instructed to advise
St. Benedicts that council had moved that henceforth no parking shall
be permitted on the east side of College Ave. from Minnesota st. south
to village limits. And that all unauthorized yellow traffic paint on
curb west side of College Ave. must be removed. Letters to Convent
and College President.
Motion made by Schneider seoonded by Schroeder to reject all three test
well bids received at Oct. 19, 1967 meeting.
Council set election hours at 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 7, 1967. The
following were approved as election judges: Mrs. Irene Rassier, Mrs. Helem
Reber, Mrs. H. Schneider and Mrs. N. Zierden.
Clerk to send notice to township that an8 percent interest ch~rge will be
added to any fire protœction fees not paid by dec. 15, 1967.
I Township residents to be advised to obtain fire~mbers from Village
fire dept.
