JOSEPH, MINNESOTA MINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD ON Nov. 9, 1967 The Village Counci¡ of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular session on Thursday I Nov. 9, 1967 with the following members present: Mayor Lodermeier, Councilmen: Schneider, Reber and Schroeder, Clerk; Johnson, Attorney John Knapp, Police Chief Bill Lorentz. Minutes of Oct. 5, 1967, and Oct. 19, and Nov. 2 meeting approved as read. A motion was made by Reber seconded by Schneider to amend Ordinance Nol 62 to adopt Sunday liquor sales. On motion by Schroeder seconded by Reber, clerk was instructed to inform Claude Menzhuber (El Paso) and Catherine Dierkhising (La Playette) that sales of in- toxicating or non-intoxicating liquor on election days is in direc~n of ordinance and will be conside~at the time of license issuance. i. / un- animously passed. Motjon made by Schneider seconded by Reber to approve election canvass as attested by election judges. motion carried. Motion made by Schneider seconded by Schroeder to set fee for Sunday liquor license at $200.00 per year. moton carried. On motion by Schroeder seconded by Reber election judges salary was increased to $1.60 per hour. motion carried. Lorentz instructed to install cememt posts for dump gate. I Motion made by Reber seconded by Schneider to pay bills as presented with the exception of the Myron Felix street blading statememt for 1965 and Nov. 1966. Motion made by Reber seconded by Schneider to approve~eduction of assessed valuation~ on the following properties as submitted and recommended by assessor Don Haider: The Alfred Eich and Donald Schneider resident property. À mo~on was made by Schneider secnnded by Reber to increase Mayor & Councilman sala~to $25.00 and '$35.00 per month respectively. moton carried. Motion mady by Schneider seconded by Schroeder to set assessor course fees at $25.00 per day plus registration fees. motion carried. A motion was made by Schneider seconded by Schroeder to purchase a motorola Mocom 30 police radio unit----2 frequency--mobile and base. Discussion of village property insurance held---Meinz to recheck plant valuation with Engineer Teague.
