JOSEPH IHNUTES OF REGULAR VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JULY 3, 1968 The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular session on lrJ"ednesday, July 3, 1968, with the following members present: Zwack, Schneider I Reber, Schroeder, Johnson, Attorney John Knapp and Police Chief Bill Lorentz. Minutes of previous meetings approved on motion by Schneider seconded by Schroeder. Representative of Tri-County Refuse Service, Box 952, St. Cloud, presented costs and service details on private garbage and refuse collection.&~. Cost listed as $1.75 per residence per month withcollector billing. 25¢ less per residence per month on village billing. (300 residence at 25¢ billing - $75.00) 10% qf service charge to businesses returned to Village/~ ;l,ç-f "/-ß"/r~ .At~ ACiu~,.C P'~. Mike Loso reported electrical repairs completed at park building, labor costs set at $16.50 - fixtures - ~e¡:j6-8 and 4-4 ft tubes. Loso Hardware billing on fixtures. On motion by Schroeder seconded by Reber the council authorized Mike Loso to install turn signals on fire trucks. l-iotion carried. Bills were presented and approved for payment on motion by Schneider seconded by Reber. t' '. Seal coating project examined - financing questions reviewed - Jaouncil members to meet with county commissioner?on July 16 to invite county participation in seal coat project. I V.F.W. black topping - north side - abutting street approved on motion by Reber seconded by Schneider. Bob Lodermeier presented complaint of damage to his residence as a result of tank cleaning project by Watertower Paint and Repair Co. Reported section of drain pipe be19W~nk,miSSing - water dept. to examine and correct problem. Company reported~tha ~~ance adjuster would call. Damage occurred on Monday, July 1. t Dick SChroeder~~~mation and question of tÏ~ Fund incorporation with St. Cloud. Contact with St. Cloud chairman to be made. Park building security discussed - repairs and padlock use approved. Attorney John Knapp indicated a public hearing would be required relating to issuance of special use permit for tràiler park. Written notice to pro- perty owners within 200 ft also a requirement. Attorney to complete and publish planning commission notice of hearing - Clerk to publish and notify residents in area for O.C. Dierkhising request for variance from zòning ordinance. Planning Commission hearing scheduled for 7:30 - variance hearing set for 8:30 on July 29, 1968. Garbage collection question tabled.
