JOSEPH, MINNESOTA MINUTES OF T}Œ VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 9, 1961 The Village council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular session on Feb. 9, 1961 with the fmllowing members present Mayor Zwack; Trustees, Schneider, Pallansch and Rau; Clerk Johnson and Attorney Knapp. A motion was made by Pallansch and seconded by Rau to ~~cept the minutes of theregular Jan meeting asread.. Motion carried. A motion was made by Schneider and seconded by Pallansch to pay bills as p1J:>esented. W. Teague who had reassured him bids on sewerage project would be ready the latter part of March or early April. Village Attorney was requested to investigate possibilities of a fed- eral grant in relation to village sewerage program. Mayor Zwack read a letter from Charles Pfannenstein in which Mr. Pfannenstein stated he would again be interested in the job of summer recreation director. Claude Menzhuber, representing the st. Joseph Athletic Assn..inquir~d about the possibility of village funds, allotted for recreatlon, belng turned over to the athletic association. Village attorney to check the legality of such action. Frank Rroehle inquired about the swearing -in of ~ depu!y.for duty at the College-Inn. - Mayor to make inquiries at Sher~ffs oiflce and relay information to Mr. Froehle. Parnell Voss and Andy Becthto~d inquired about water extensions to their residentmal area. Attorney to suPply forms of petition to parties involved. Cost estimate to be obtained from village engineer. Clerk to send all dog owners a letter regarding confinement of dogs, and publish notice in local newspaper.
