JOSEPH, MIN~ŒSOTA j \' MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON APRIL 6, 1961 The Village council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular sesßion on April 6, 1961. Members present were Zwack, Schneider, Rau, Mein~, Johnson, Attorney Knapp and Engineer Teague. I A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Schneider to accept minutes of regular and special meetings held in March, 1·10tion carried. Berg resusitator repair 38.25 I John Knapp legal services 677.14 Attorney John Knapp presented a report on a discussion \vi th Lylè Smith, Minnesota Department of Pollution, in charge of federal grants. The report included a rating of 66 point total compiled by Mr. Smith for the Village of st. Joseph. The low or cut-off point the past five years has been 72 points - Mr. Knapp stated this information had been forwarded to the College of St. Benedict. A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Johnson to appoint Wilfred J. Wasner to membership in the St. Joseph Fire Department. Motion carried. A motion v¡as made by Schneider and seconded by Rau to adopt resolution of comprehensive village plan. :t<lotion carried. . A Motion was made by Rau and seconded by Schneider to appoint Mrs. Margaret Kelly to fill the vacancy on the St. Joseph Planning comm- ission created by the resignation of Mike Nierengarten. American Legion officåals submitted plans and an application for building permit for construction of new club & post home on present site. A motion was made by RaD and Seconded by Schneider to approve application. Dave Pfannenstein appeared to present an application for a non-intox- I icating on sale & off-sale licence. Mr. Pfannenstein stated he had leased the former College In~. A motion ,qas made by Schneider and seconded by RaD to issue licenses provided present licenses in use at College Inn are surrendered. Motion carried. Con'd page 177 4177 Þl LJ n Engineer Teague presented completed sewerage system plans. A com- pletmit ~xxgR review of sewerage program was made. Þir. Teague also presented the ad for bids on sewerage project with bids to be opened on the 9th day of May, 1961 at 7:30 p. m. at the Village hall. A motion was made by Schneider and seconded by Rau to accept sewerage program plans and clerk instructed to advertise for bids. Notion carried.
