HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961 [10] Oct 05 RESOLUTION RESOLVED That the Villàge Council of the Village of St. Joseph, Stearns County, Minnesota, hereby accepts the offer of the NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, a Minnesota corporation, to furnish the electric energy necessary for the operation of municipal water pumping and associated equip- ment at the Villagers pumping station, and hereby approves all rates, terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the proposed form of Municipal Water Pumping Contract made a part of the offer of said Company, and the proper officers of the Village are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid Contract, and any instruments ancillary thereto, for and in the name of the Village, and to affix the corporate seal thereto. JOSEPH, MINNESOTA 193 MI~WTES OF REGULAR VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 5, 1961 < The Village council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regùar session on Thursday, Oct 5, 1961 with the follmving members present: ZvJack, Schneider, Pallansch, Rau, Meinz Jo~_nson, Attorney John IDJapp and Engineer R. W. Teague. A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Pallansch to approve minutes of previous regular meeting as read. Mayor Zwack stated the College of st. Benedict had agreed on dump site road improvement project. The TO'wn BOard had agreed to pay one-half cost of road improvement and one-third cost of maintenance on dump and road. A resume of the se~collector system was presented by Engineer R. W. Teague. A motion was made by Schneider ans seconded by Rali to pay bills as presented. Motion made by Schneider seconded by Pallansch to approve request for permit.
