MIfTIJTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING FßLD ON MAY 4, 1961
The Village council of the Village of st.. Joseph met in regular session
on May 4, 1961. Members present Zwack, Schneider, Pallansch, Rau Meinz
Johnson and Attorney Knapp. ' , I
Motion made by Pallansch seconded by Ra~ to accept minutes of the pre-
vious meeting as read. ~
M~tion made. by Schneider seconded by Pallansch to pay bills as presented
w~th except~on of Teague statement on ball park plans. .
Motio~ made ~y Schneider seconded by Pallanschto approve application
for l~quor llcense of Catherine Dierkhissing. (Gerald Maurer transfer).
The liquor license application of Leo Hullenmaster'l..¡as presented. A

catlon by Recreatlon Assn. for use at ball park. Motion carried.
Motion made by Pallansch, seconded by Rau to renew the 1 year lease to
Recreation Assn. on ball park. Motion carried.
Bldg. permit applications of Arthur Reber, Marie Raab & Nick Froekle
were approved on a motion by Pallansch seconded by Scnneider.
Request presented by Oscar Krebsback to enlarge present drivway at Kreb- I
sbach Motors - motion made by Rau seconded by Pallansch to gran~ request.
Attorney to contact Menzhuber-Walz for easement on sewer line.
Al Hoffman was present and Questioned the fact whether (Of Driscoll)
Tri Cou~ty police had at anytime been employed by the village. Council
informed Mr. Hoffman O'Driscall had never been employed by the village,
but had been given power of arrest during employment by the College of
St. Benedict.
Bill Lowo present concerning bids on fence around treatment plant.
Advised to contact bidders or successful bidder. Loso also presented
an inquiry regarding assessment tax on water main improvement no. 1960.
Explanation presented by Attorney John Knapp.
Motion to approve bldg. permit of Bob Borresch to construct garage was
made by Pallansch seconded by Schneider.
