JOSEPH, MINrmSOTA 191- MINUTES OF REGULAR VILLAGE COUNCIL NEETING HELD ON SEPTE1ŒER 7, 1961 The village council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular session I on September 7, 1961 with the following members present: Zwack, Schneider, Rau, Meinz, Johnson, Attorney John Knapp and Engineer R. W. Teague. Minutes of the August meeting were read and approved on a motion by Schneider and seconded by Rau. A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Schneider to pay bills as presented. An application was submitted by Parnell Vox for painting village hall. Mr. Voz to be invited to 'Submit bid. R11ssell Ratte} a Warren Chemical representative, was present and decribed in d tail the sodhilll p]osphate tre8tment. Initial cost sub- mitted: $350.00 plus wiring and plãstic tubing. Estimated cost of aper- ation~ $525.00 per year. Mr. Rattel also described the 4 months trial method at a cost of $100.00 for pump use. Contract to be sent village in the event council decides to use trial method. Members of the to,VTI board were present. Mr. Zimmer, spokØsman for the I group, expressed a desire of the to~mship for a cooperative arrangement of a dumping grounds, the township to purch2se additional property adjomning the present village àump with both properties to be combined as one dl®p and used in this manner by both village and tovmship. Village attorney to consult St. Ben- edicts on possibility of v-Jidening road to city dump. 192 A petition of annexation to villoge of St. Joser~ WÐS presented by Hartin Speiser, Secunda S})eiSel' a:oc, Josep}' Speiser. Ed ~dilberg I'eques- ted consideration of two additional lots for annexation. (Lots adjoining Speiser property). Mr. Wilberg agreed to contact additional property I owners in the area with reg8rð to annexation. Al ì·lertes Ðnò Eax Kuebelbeck also indic~ted a desire for annexation. Annexation rroceed- ings viere tabled until survey is completed and all parties interested in annexation have been listed. A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Schneider to purchase indicator post and valve for installation at school.
