JOSEFH, MINNESOTA 1 ~!)' -':1... ....../ ........_~- MINUTES OF REGULAR VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 9, 19(1 The village council of the Village of St. Joseph met in regular session on Thursday, Nov. 9, 1961 with the following present: Zwack, Scbneider, Pall- ansch, Rau, Heinz, Johnson, Attorney John Knapp and Engineer 11. W. Teague. A motion was made by Schneider and seconded by Fallansch to accept minutes of previous meeting as read. A motion was made by Rau and seconded by Schneider to pay bills as presented. Damage occurred at the Tony Wolfe alley entrance and amounted to radiator damage and antifreeze loss'. Engineer to check manhole at alley entrance. Village attorney advised Mrs. Utsch to submit claim in writing. A motion was made by Schneider and seconded by Pallansch to accept election Canvass as follows: Mayor - Zwack 194 - JollD Schroeder 36 - Trustee Donald Rau 186 - Bud Reber 15 - Treasurer Bill Neinz 209, Constable Nick Borresch 68, Victor Gill 7, Justice Mike Loso 31, Christ Pallansch 15. A motion was made by Sc neider & seconded by Rau to approve building permi t applications of Kron Il( Figa;1a - residence - lot 6 Park Terrace. O. C. pïerkhising addition to La Playette. (O/II//ì¡;& 1?k!.i5I0) Attorney Knapp announced his intention to attend the fall meeting of Hinn. Assn of~City & Viililage Attorneys in Npls. and asked council to cons ide r an expense allOi,rance for this purpose. 196 A motion wns mode by Ron and seconded hy Sc~neid8r to table question. Engineer Teague reTorted he -Has un8ble to cont8ct contractor regarding dumy road rroject, but xø: steted his steff was ready to survey and stake-out road imurovement. The engineer also re~orted on the Jose~h FhilliTPi stor- setter question and project required to eliminate the problem. A motion was made bv Fallansch aDd seconded bv Schneider to levy toY-es as follows: l~ghts 20ob., General R~venue GEBoo.bo, rlecreD+~on G70b.oo; P0011 fund 9.300.00. The levy of (;;300.00 for t};o poor fnnc1 represented the only Xb~T increaso in t}e general levy. A motion was made by Schnr~der and seconded by Fallansch to aò.journ at 10:30 p. m.
