HINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL I1EETING HELD ON HAY 12, 1969
The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in special session on
Monday, May 12, with the following members present: Zwack, Schneider, I
Reber, Schroeder, Johnson, Lorentz and James Harlander, Bell Telephone Co.
engineer.
Council examined request for installation of telephone ducts and man-holes
on Minnesota Street and College Ave. Installations and man-holes to be
placed in side"ralks on south side of Minnesota Street.
Motion made by Schneider seconded by Reber to approve permit of Bell Telephone
as per plans submitted with correction - ducts and man-holes moved to sidewalk
area on Minnesota Street. Notion carried.
Engineer to prepare specs for sidewalk replacement and man-hole installation,
street restoration on College Ave and Ninnesota Street.
On motion by Reber seconded by Schnieder the following liquor applications
",¡ere approved: Claude & Ivlarion lIenzhuber - El Paso Club and Lanes; Helen
Jaren- Jaren's (off sale; Reuben Wiener - Midway Bar (on and off sale);
Catherine Dierkhising, La Playette (on and Off slae); VFW Club - on-sale (club
license); Legion Club - on sale (club license). Motion carried unanimously.
