VlIl\!UJTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL IvlliETING HELD ON r-1ARCH 24, 1969'
The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in special session on
r.íonday, March 2~., 1969, vnth the following members present: Zwack, Schneider, I
Reber, Schroeder and Johnson.
Purpose of meeting: to consider variance recommendation as submitted by
Zoning Board of adjustment and appeals. At a public hearing held on f.1arch
17, 1969 the Zoning Board, by a 2-l vote, recommended council approval for
variance request submitted by O.C. Dierkhising relating to single-family unit
construction on Lot 4 Blk 1, Lodermeiers Addition. Variance necessary after
concrete footings were placed approximately 2 'feet beyond lot line require-
ments. All concrete blocks were reported to be in place at this council meet-
ing date prior to the granting of a variance by council vote. f.1ayor Zwack
reported receiving call from Avon Lumber, after variance hearing, regarding
approval and permission to continue construction.
A motion was made by Schroeder seconded by Schneider to table zoning board
recomnendation and variance question and order immediate halt to construction.
Mayor Zwack to inform variance applicants immediately of stop order. }lotion
carried unanimously.
Motion to adjourn made at 8:45 p.m.
