VILLAGE OF ST. JOSEPH
MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 21, 1970
The Village Council met in special session on Wed. Jan. 21 with the follow-
I ing members present: Mayor George Gustin, Councilmen Herman Schneider,
Roman Reber, Clerk Bob Johnson. Also present were District Highway Engineer
F. C. Marshall and Assistant Warren Jones and interested area residents.
Purpose of meeting: Presentation of plat and explanation of change in
plans relating to Interstate 94. Present plans indicated a change to
a route south of village with on interchange west of village on present
Highway 52. Final determination of route not completed until after
public hearings to be held mn 1970. New route to reduce number of inter-
changes from nine to four in area from St. Aggasta to St. Joseph. Addition-
al meetings in 1970 to be scheduled with council according to engineers.
