MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON APRIL 16, 1970
The Village Council met in special session on Thursday, April 16, 1970 with I
the following members present: Mayor George Gustin; Councilmen Herman
Schmeider, Roman Reber, Richard Schroeder; clerk Bob Johnson, Attorney John
Knapp.
Council met with Al Donabauer of Donabauer Well Drilling at 7:30 p.m. Donabauer
recommended acid treatment and jetting of well no. 1. Cost factors: 2 men -
machine @ $20.00 per hour - 4 hours to remove and 4 hours to replace. Acid
at $1.00 per gallon. $160.00 for labor plus acid.
Motion made by Schroeder seconded by Schneider to approve Donabauer's re-
moval of pump;acid ~ of well. Motion carried.

The Village Council met with District Highway engineer Tony Soderberg and
assistant Warren Jones at 8: p.m. Also present were members of village
planning commission and other interested citizens. Engineers displayed
plat of 4 possible routes for 194 south of the Village. Larger and more
detailed to aerial photos to be made later this summer. Village to receive
notice of new developments and time of future hearings.
