MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 13, 1972
I Special meeting of Village Council and Planning Conunission was held on Wednesday
April 13, 1972 with the following members present: Mayor Gustin, Herman
Schneider, Roman Reber, Bud Reber, Harvey Botz; Clerk Bob Johnson, Attorney
John Knapp; Planning Commission members present: Ollie Lesnick, John Redmond,
Al Maleska, Rudy Gapko, Ben Kremer - also present v{ere: Lester Baird, Bill
Lorentz. Discussion hald on Merickel Construction in Park Terrace.
Change in ordinance requires public hearing publication - no present authority
to refuse permit under present conditions. Attorney to contact Planning
Consultant Richard Fredlund to further examine zoning ordinance. Lesnick to
consult developer Merickel.
Discussion of state building code - plumbing - electrical held.
Þlotion made by Herman Schneider seconded by Bud Reber to adopt State Building
Code.
Burlington Northern letter received by James Brummer presented: Notice of
closing indicated depot to be sold to highest bidder. Let ter turned over
to Planning Commission - question of depot purchase for scouts.
Clerk to wBite PCA regarding placement fo branches and leaves ètc. after
July 1, 1972.
I Discussion of street surfacing south end of Eastern Park - (east - west).
Motion to adjourn made by Herman Schneider seconded by Harvey Botz..at 8:45 p.m.
