JOSEPH, MINNESOTA MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MONDAY MAY 15, 1972 I The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in special session a:h 8p. m. on Monday May 15, 1972 with the following members present: ¥J.a.yor Gustin, Councilmen Herman Schneider, Roman Reber, Bud Reber, Harvey Botz, Clerk Bob Johnson, Attorney John Knapp. Purpose: to open previously scheduled meeting on bid opening and hold public hearing. Meeting with PCA scheduled for May 24 in St. Paul. Attorney recommended postponment of bid opening and hearing on sewer and water extensions to Eastern Park Addn. to June 26 7 p.m for bid opening - 9p.m. for public hea.ring. Also present were Leander Zipp, Arnold Lindskog, Ed Hoffman requesting information relating to their annexation and water and sewer services. Engineer Maynard Klever \-¡as also present. :t-lotion was made by Roman Reber seconded by Bud Reber to continue hearing on June 26, 1972 as previously stated. Motion carried. Motion made by Harvey Botz seconded by Herman Schneider to instruct engineer to hold bid opening at 7 p.m. on June 26, 1972. Discussion of hook-up charges held. I Motion made by Herman Schneider seconded by Harvey Botz to set $600.00 as the hook-up charge per unit for sewer and water connections. Motion carried. Ordinance for permanent voting, registration presented by Attorney Knapp. Clerk to further study question for next meeting, attorney to revise. Tri-Cap question - Rudy Gapko name submitted as supervisor at a $650.00 fee for 9 weeks program. Approximately 10 youngsters on work force. Motion was made by Bud Reber seconded by Harvey Botz to hire Rudy Gapko to supervise Tri-Cap program. Motion carried. Mayor Gustin suggested council consider names of residents to serve on Park Board to be established. Street sweeping to begin next week. Building code aèòption to be presented at next meeting. Three copies of State Building Code placed on file. Poor condition of baseball bleachers and båck stop éited. Estimates for hall interior improvement to be obtained. I Uotion made by Roman Reber seconded by Bud Reber to change plant operatiOn) ~~.¿,-t cost share to 60% for College of St. Benedict 40% Village. Motion carried. Lorentz to notify all persons in violation of zoning ordinance. 490 Motion made by Bud Reber seconded by Roman Reber to approve the following off sale liquor licenses: El Paso Inc., La Playette, Midway Bar, Salls Cafe.
