VILLAGE OF ST. JOSEPH, MINNESOTA
MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCILMJmETING HELD ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 20, 1972
The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in speaial session on Monday I
Nov 20, 1972 with the following members present: Mayor George Gustin,; Council-
men Herman Schneider, Roman Reber; Clerk Bob Johnson. Absent Councilman Bud
Reber.
Motion made by Roman Reber seconded by Herman Schneider to have clerk send letter
to the District Highway Engineer, Brainerd office, requesting the following
traffi c lane improvement:
To establish the following left and right turn lanes off Highway 52 in and
near the Village of St. Joseph:
A left hand turn lane for West-Bound traffic and a right-hand turn lane for
east-bound traffic at the Juncition of Highway 52, County Rd 2 and College
Ave. in the Village of St. Joseph. A left-hand turn lane for west-bound traffic
on Highway 52 at the junction of County Rd 134 and Old Highway 52, approx-
imately one mile east of the Village of St. Joseph.
Carbon copies to be sent the following: Representative Bernie Brinkman -
District 16 - B Richmond, Minnesota. Senator Ed Schrom, Dist 16=B Albany, Minn.
Board of Commissioners, Stearns County Minnesota and St. Joseph Planning
Commission.
Discussion and examination of proposed 1973 tax levy was held.
A motion made by Roman Reber seconded by Herman Schneider to add levy limit
increase of $1558.15 to general revenue fund and approve 1973 levy as presented.
Motion carried unanimously. I
Mot.J.on to adjourn was made by Herman Schneider seconded by Roman Reber at 10:05.
