MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY MAY 17, 1973
The Village Council and Planning Commission met in special session on
Thursday, May 17, 1973 at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present: I
Mayor George Gustin; Councilmen, Herman Schneider, Roman Reber, Hugo Weyrens,
Absent: Bud Reber (illness); and Clerk Bob Johnson.
Planning Commission members presen~were; Chairman, Ben Kremer, Vice
Chairman ~~Fel t, Sec. John Redmo , A:+- Maleska, Rudy Gapko, Mri.. R. W.
Kelly. Als present were: Mr. and Mrs. Dick Schroeder, Mrs. James
Landwehr, Donald Hoodecheck, Ed Kacures, and others.
Purpose of meeting: to re-examine pre-liminary plats of Hollow Park sub-
division as submitted by Hub Klein for Avon Lumber. Four different plats
were examined. Most interested residents indicated a preference for
plan 2.

Planning Commission called their meeting to order to conduct the following
business.
Planning Commission recommended approval of Plan No 2 to council w~ith
elimination of dead end street between lots 6 and 8, contingent upon closing
of access to Highway 52 from Old 52.
Council opened a regulax session at 9:45 p.m.
Motion made by Herman Schneider seconded by Hugo Weyrens to approve the
following liquor license applications: El Paso Club and Lanes, Inc.,
Reuben Wiener(M dway Bar), Eric Dierkhising (La Playette), Dale and M r- I
cellus N. Schneider, (Salls Cafe), Club licenses to VFW and Legion Post.
Motion made by Herman Schneider seconded by Roman Reber to allot $6000.00
of 1972 revenue sharing funds to fire equipment purchase. Motion passed
unanimously.
Motion made by Herman Schneider seconded by Hugo Weyrens to approve pay-
ment of dues of State Civil Defense Assn. Motion passed.
