Joseph met in regular session on Thursday Jul;)T 5, 1973 at 7:30 p.m. with the follovnng members present: Herm~n Schneider act- I ing malor»J1man Reb~ud ~er, Hugo Weyrens; Absent Mayor George Gustin. ~ L~'v'./ I . '\ ....tvL (&v"-.#.../Æ Public hearing opened at 7:30 p.m. on Pr ject No. 73 - 183 - 1973 Water Main Improvement to Loso's 7th Addn. Also present were Lee Roy Rebischke and Maynard Sand, M~nor Enterprises Inc., Tom Klein, Avon, Lumber, Andrew Bechtold area resident. Discussion held on water main size. 6 inch main agreed upon. Engineer to determine location relating to Old Hv~ 52. Tom Klein informed a~ea south of Hv~ would be assessed a portion of Improvement, regardless of development plan. Mr. Klein indicated he spoke for Avon Llunber Co. Mr. Klein also indicated without the access road (Old 52) closed, plan No. 2 may not be acceptable. Objected ot water main improvement cost at this time. Engineer suggested private lots be compared to Eastern Park Addn. with balance split between Ma.nor Enterprises Inc. and Avon Lumber Co. ($3800. to $3900. to Manor and Avon LUÆber) $750. cost to each private lot. Motion made by Bud Reber seconded by Roman Reber to direct engineer and attorney to proceed ~~th 1973 Water Main Improvemnt. Main to be located on south side of old high- V'[2~Y 5 2 . Tom Klej,n was informed that Hollow Park subdi vi sion proposal requires re-zoning Rl to R2 and a variance for construction of 2 - 8 plex multiples. Hearing adjourned at 8:45 p.m. I Regular meeting continued at 8:45 p.m. Elmer Rakotz present regarding restoration. R~gineer to present option to contractor on Rakotz restoration - a deduct or returning end of August and complete project. Ed Hoffmandead tree cited. Contractor problem. Dog problems cited - council agreed enforcement of ordinance and action necessary to afford residents protection from qogs rlLnning at large. Treasurer presented the monthly fund report. Motion made by Roman Reber seconded by Bud Reber to schedule bid opening on 1973 Water Main Imp. for 7 p.m. Thursday August 9, 1973. Motion carried. Engineer suggested council approve engineering firms request for additional time from PCA for completion of sewerage treatment plant improvement plans. Claude Menzhuber present regarding bituminous surfacing at El Paso Club &~d Lanes. Past records to be examined. Motion made by Roman Reber seconded by Bud Reber to pay Police Reserves $45.00 for 4th of July duty. ~lotion carried. Bills approved for pa;)~ent on motion by Roman Reber seconded by Bud Reber.
