MINUTES OF SPECIAL VILLA.GE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 30, 1973
The Village Council of the Village of St. Joseph met in special session on Tuesday
I October 30, 1973 with the following members present: Acting Mayor Herman Schneider;
Councilmen Roman Reber, Bud Reber, Hugo Weyrens and Clerk Bob Johnson.
Purpose of meeting - initial tax levy meeting. Tax levy data and information examined.
Discussion hg¡d on Fire relief levy of $600.00.
Motion was made by Roman Reber seconded by Hugo Weyrens to add the $600.00 fire
relief levy orginally dropped at i~~ of state levy limitations in 1971.
Motion approved. Second tax levy W111 e held at regular Nov. meeting.

The following judges and counters were appointed for the Nov 6, 1973 village election:
Ann Zwack, Irene Rassier, Mag Schneider, Franie Zierden. Counters: Roman Zwack,
Ben Kremer, Merl Gretch. Register of voters: Ida Mae Johnson on mòtion by Hugo
Weyrens seconded by Roman Reber. Motion carried. I
