CITY OF ST. JOSEPH, MINNESOTA
MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 26, 1975
The City Council of the City of St. Joseph met in special session on Wednesday
February 26, 1975 at 7:30 with the following members present: Herman Schneider,
Acting Mayor; Councilmen Bud Reber, Hugo Weyrens, Steve Dehler; Clerk Bob Johnson.
Also present: Dale Mossey, James Landwehr, Bill Meinz, members of the St. Joseph
Development Corp.
Dale Mossey explained corporation action relating to grant application - request-
ing council approval to submit a second pre-application to HUD.
A motion was made by Hugo Weyrens seconded by Bud Reber to approve and submit a
second pre-application for grant funds under the Housing & Community Development
Act of 1974 as per application prepared by the St. Joseph Development Corp.
Motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Bud Reber seconded by Hugo Weyrens to approve temporary
closing of 2nd Ave N.W north of Birch Street to present U.S. Hwy 52 on March 8
and 9th for the snowmobile benefit scheduled. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn made by Steve Dehler seconded by Hugo Weyrens at 8:30 p.m.
