JOSEPH, MINNESOTA 631 MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL 1Ĺ’ETING HELD ON MONDAY MAY 19, 1975 The City Council of the City of St. Joseph met in special session on Monday, May 19, 1975 with the following members present: Harry J. Knevel; Councilmen, Herman - Schneider, Bud Reber, Steve Dehler, Clerk Bob Johnson; Attorney John Knapp. Also present were: St. Joseph Township officials Norb Eikmeier; Fred Reber, Del Terwey, Clerk David Thralow; Attorney John Pattisòn. Purpose of meeting: to discuss east-end annexation matters - also present were: James and Don Landwehr, Mike Ryan, Bill Meinz and 7 or 8 east end residents. Joint planning commissions have not submitted a recommendation to date. Question of homeowners having problems in area explored. One property owner has reported and identified water problem to date. Three to five year phase up to property tax in city - need for identification of individual problem areas cited. Property owners to be requested to appear before Joint Planning Commission - study east end, south end, north end abutting areas. Engineer to be present for planning commission meetings.
