JOSEPH, MINNESOTA MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY, rv1AY 22, 1975 The City Council of the City of St. Joseph met in special session on Thursday, May 22, 1975 with the following members present: Mayor Harry J. Knevel; Councilmen Herman Schneider, Bud Reber, Hugo Weyrens, Steve Dehler; Clerk Bob Johnson; Attorney I John Knapp. Meeting date of June 16 re-scheduled to June 12th - clerk to notify township 8 p.m. - check with John Knapp. County Emergency Service Director to be contacted by Hugo Weyrens. C01UlCil reviewed land exchange project - stipulations to be recorded on land transfer - matter to be returned to planning commission. A motion was made by Hugo Weyrens seconded by Steve Dehler to approve the city street dance policy as presented by City Attorney John Knapp and corrected. Motion carried unanimously. Clerk to contact Howard Kaibel, Executive Secretary Minnesota Municipal Commission, to provide invitation to attend Joint Planning Commission meeting qn June 9 at 8p.m. Refuse pickup cost examination held - 406 @ 2.75 per month to be re-evaluated in July, annexation area re-examined - approx 150 acres. A motion was made by Herman Schneider seconded by Steve Dehler to place no parking from here to corner on 2nd Ave N.W. - Minnesota north to alley consistent with simular type regulatory sign placement. Motion carried. Further study of area to be made. Sidewalk project - contractor to load curb removal - sidewalk removal material to I be used on 1st Ave N.W. north end - balance to dump. Sleeves implaced on street for signs in sidewald replacement area. Request for materials for operation ID presented by Police Chief Lorentz - $20.00 cost estimate. A motion was made by Steve Dehler seconded by Herman Schneider to authorize purchase inventory sheets, 2 slides and 2 tapes - total cost approx $20.00. Motion carried.
