MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 1975
The City Council of the City of St. Joseph met in special session on Tuesday,
October 7, 1975 with the following members present: Mayor Harry J. Knevel; I
Councilmen, Herman Schneider, Bud Reber, Hugo Weyrens, Steve Dehler; Clerk
Bob Johnson.
Purpose of meeting: to examine and review preliminary budget information;
fire truck purchase materials, employee salary and benefit schedules.
W. J. Properties complaints received today were examined - treatment plant
odor - further discussion to be held with engineers; purchase of electric
igniter for gas burner unit being investigated; addition of odor control
chemicals being examined, upgrading Grant program to receive close examina-
tion for odor controls
Council requested employees submit salary requests by Oct 16, 1975 for
discussion at meeting of Oct. 23, 1975.
Motion to adjourn was made at 11:30 p.m. Motion carried.
