AGENDA ITEM: Old Fire Helmets
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Fire Board approved the purchase on all new Fire Helmets because
Our current helmets did not meet NFPA standard which state they must
be replaced every 10 years. (The old helmets were purchased and
dated back in 1995). All the new helmets are in service and some of the
current members are interested in their old helmet.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: None..
ATTACHMENTS:
REQUESTED ACTION: Get the Fire Board's thoughts of what to do with the old helmets and if we were to
sell to the members, come up with a very minimum fee.
