Minutes of ineeting held January 1 l, 2000
Meeting called to order by Lonnie Abbott at 7:00 p.m.
Members present: John Walz,Lonnie Abbott,Bruce Berghorst,Marge Lesnick and Cory Ehlert
Guest: Judy from City Offices
Members Absent: Chuck Muske
Approval of Minutes:
Motioned by John and secanded by Bruce to approve minutes,Motion
Passed.
Laison Report:
• Told the Park Board about a$750.00 donation from the Sairn Joe Rod Gun
Club and of a$1000.00 donaxion from NSP for access for power pole
guide wires onto Memorial Pazk property.
Chairman Report:
• Lonnie discussed the interviewing process for the hiring of the Summer
Recreation Director and Assistant Director.
• Judy from the city offices presented Informaxion on how the budget is set for
th�summer recreation program,pay scale for the Director, Assistant Director
and staff,what they were paid last year and made recommendations for this
years pay scale.
Old Business:
• Discussion on Family Fun Day activities and donations to be held January
15�'.
New Business:
• Motion made by Bruce to hire two people for Summer Recreation positions
and seconded by Marge, motion passed.
• Motion made by Lonnie and seconded by John to have delegation of summer
pazk projects and discussion of pole light in memorial park carried forward to
the next meeting.
Meeting Adjourned.
Next Meeting: January 25,2000/7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
