Minutes of ineeting held January 25, 2000
Meeting called to order by Lonnie Abbott at 7:05 p.m.
Members present: John Walz, Lonnie Abbott, Chuck Muske and Bruce Berghorst
Marge Lesnick and Jennifer Wi�'z..
Members Absent: Cory Ehlert.
Approval of Minutes: Motioned hy John and Seco�ded by Bruce,Motion Passecl.
Laison Report:N/A..
Chai�a�Report: Lonnie introduced our new summer Re�Director, her name is Tracy .
Gillespie, her assistant will be MaryKay Gapinski. Both are highly qualified and
should do a good job this summer. They will meet and report back to the board
for our Feb. meeting. Lonnie is also looking for someone to go to the St.
Wendell Township meeting in March. He said Cory will be going and asking
them to donate to help offset the cost of the Summer Rec. Program. There has
always been some kids from that area involved with our Program. Chuck said
he was interested.
Old Business: .
�amil�Fun Da�t.;_ We had an excellant turn out.The weather was great and
everyone had a great time. Talked about things we could change ne�rt year,
like having a bulletin board to past the winner's of door prizes. Marge made
a list of a11 the peopie and businesses that donated prizes and will have them
put on channel#3 to thank them,
New Business: �
Park Pro�.ects:
Klinefelter Park: The final phase!! Marge wiii order the equipment.
Lonnie had people assigned to Parks to look out for there needs this
Surnmer. Northland -Lonnie
Millstream-Bruce
Klinefelter-John
Memorial , Centenial and Tot Lots-Marge, Chuck and Jennifer.
S�mmer Pro�ects_ Lonnie laid out some summer projects we need to do
1. Pole for Sledding Hill.
2. Asphalt for Handicap Parking Space at Northland.
3. Cement for the Hockey Rink and Pleasure Rink.
4. Frisbee Golf.

5. Signs for Bike Paths. Motion by Chuck and seconded by John
to set aside�750, given to the Park Board by the Rod and Gun Club
to purchase these signs. Motion Passed.
6. Check the Electric Power by the Camp Sites at Nfillstream.
