Minutes of ineeting held June 18, 2002
Members present: Lonnie A,Marge L, Chuck M,John W,Bruce B, &Kyle S

Called to order 7:02 PM
Approval of agenda. Motioned by Bruce and seconded by Marge
Approval of past meeting minutes tabled until July meeting
Chair report: Fence is nearly completed at Northland park.
Basketball court for Northland has bid but waiting until know what land is available
Maintenance has been watering the trees at Northland
Signs for ballfield,playground, volleyball,basketball will be done by maintenance department if they are
willing to do. Motioned by John and seconded by Marge.
Portable toilets to be provided at Northland and Memorial park. Motioned by Marge and seconded by Chuck.
Skateboard equipment is ordered. Equipment included ramp corner and launch box. Total will be$6290.46. A
possible future phase 3 could include a quarter pipe.
Frisbee box is tabled until next meeting. Someone is willing to donate concrete pads. Will contact party to find
out the size and depth they are willing ta provide.
The park sign at memorial is completed. The sign indicates the ballpark is dedicated as Schneider Park.
Kyle will check on signs on for CR 75 to the parks. G��� t

Picnic tables and benches. It was proposed that memorial park have added b the bleachers and N rtPfland a

Tree planting tabled until next meeting. All member to check parks for the need of trees.

Kyle also brought up that�i�s�checking with the other cities to see what they require the developers to provide
before they start construLtion in a city.
Ted Schmidt approached the caunsel about donation the land(outlots). Park voted this down. Motioned by
Lonnie and seconded by Chuck.
Need fence bid for replacement at Schneider Ballpark located in Memorial. Marge will get bids for the fence.
Lonnie questioned having advertisement signs on the fence at the ballpark. Board will check more into this.
A plea was made for another park baard member.
Next meeting at Northland Park. July 16,7:OOprn.
