PLEASE TELL US WILY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING.
I have caught the civic services bug. It started with caucusing in 2016 and has overtaken me. I want to serve and help our
community in anyway I can.
PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR WORK EXPERIENCES.
I've worked in various positions related to mental health services since 1998, many of those years in the St. Cloud area. I
moved to the cities to complete my doctorate, but moved back to St. Cloud shortly after I graduated. I have been teaching for
the University of Phoenix since 2008 and most recently started a charity called Chatology Services in 2015. Through this
charity we provide outreach to the elderly in and around the St. Cloud area and we have a non -crisis support line (for all
ages). We are striving to improve psychological well-being one chat at a time. We hope that through our services we are
helping people to work through some of the minor things we all experience on a daily basis that don't require the intensity of
traditional mental health services, but could still benefit from some simple processing with someone that has a mental health
or human services background.

PLEASE TE,,LL US ABORT ANY PRIOR OR CURRENTCIVIC INVOLVEMENT.
I have always been passionate about the voting process, often giving "extra credit" to students who told me where their voting
location was on election days, but it wasn't until this election season (2016) that I started to go the extra mile. I am serving as
vice chair for Ward 1 Precinct 2, and as an alternate delegate for the CD 6 convention and state convention. 1 have also
served and continue to serve as a volunteer for the resolutions committee for CD 6.
PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES.
I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology through the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy
University in 2011, prior to that I completed my master's degree in community counseling with a concentration in marriage and
family therapy at SCSU in 2003, prior to that my undergraduate degree with a major in applied psychology in 2000, and prior
to that I graduated from St. Cloud Tech high school in 1997.
PLEASE TELL US ABOUT ANY "LIFE EXPERIENCES" THAT MAY HELP YOU FULFILL A BOARD OR
COMMISSION POSITION.
I have been a part of the St. Cloud community for the majority of my life. I was born here, raised in Clearwater, MN and other
than a handful of years in the Twin Cities, have lived in St. Cloud for most of my adult life. I have been married to my
wonderful husband, Patrick Doring, for almost 13 years. In my younger years I was a part of St. Cloud's vibrant community
theater scene with my father, Murl Rinkenberger, and he was always very involved in civic activities, so I guess it is safe to
say I caught both the acting and civics bug from him.
PLEASE, TELL, US WHAT TIME COMMITMENT YOU CAN PROVIDE YOUR BOARD OR COMMISSION BEYOND
REGULAR MEETINGS.
Being that I run my own charity and teach online, I have a very flexible schedule, so providing commitments beyond regular
meetings will not be a problem. I can assure you that I am willing to go above and beyond in all that I do, while finding an
appropriate life balance so that I do not burn out in any area that I commit myself to.
PLEASE TELL. US WHAT YOt: '1,1I1NK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE.
A somewhat youthful perspective (I'm not quite forty yet, although it is fast approaching), energy, excitement, passion (even
for things some might find mundane), commitment and follow through.
