AGENDA ITEM: Election Equipment-Requested Action: Authorize the
purchase of eight additional voting booths at a cost of$ 245 per both.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The City currently has 32 voting booths that are divided between
the two precincts.

In looking at the spaces,we have the
ability to add some voting booths and
due to the anticipated large turn out,
we are proposing to add 4 more booths for each precinct. The additional eight booths will provide for 20
booths for each precinct. Funds have been set aside in the CIP for election equipment.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: $ 245.00 per booth,total$ 1,960.00
