May 2, 2016 Project information for drafting necessary documentation sent to Ehlers.
May 11, 2016 Letter received by County Commissioner giving notice of potential housing
tax increment financing district modification (at least 30 days prior to
publication of public hearing notice.) [Ehlers will fax and mail on or before
May 11, 2016.]
May 20, 2016 Fiscal/economic implications received by School Board Clerk and County
Auditor (at least 30 days prior to public hearing). [Ehlers will fax & mail on
or before May 20, 2016]
May 31, 2016 Ehlers & Associates conducts internal review of the Plan.
June 10, 2016 Date of publication of hearing notice and map (at least 10 days but not more
than 30 days prior to hearing). [Ehlers will e-mail notice & map to the St.
Joseph Newsleader by June 6, 2016 to news@thenewsleaders.com]
June 13, 2016 Planning Commission reviews the Plan to determine if they are in
compliance with City's comprehensive plan.
June 15, 2016 EDA adopts a resolution approving the TIF Plan.
June 20, 2016 City Council holds public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on the establishment of the
Fortitude Senior Housing TIF District and passes resolution approving the
Plan. [Ehlers will email council packet information on or before June 13,
2016]
City Council approves an interfund loan in conjunction with the District.
Ehlers files Plans with the MN Department of Revenue, OSA and Stearns
County.
