Members Present: John Anderson(Chairman), Marguerite Fogarty(Secretary), Andrew Deuhs,
Troy Goracke, Matt Killam(Councilor Liaison), Lori Bartlett(Finance Director)
1. Call to Order: 6:00 p.m.
2.Approval of Minutes: Approved
3.Approval of Agenda: Approved
4. Treasurers Report: John made a motion to approve. Andrew seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.
5.Liaison Reports:
a. Matt Killam:
The Council is reviewing projects considered for the Budget.
b. Lori Bartlett:
Lori reported for Terry. The bathrooms at Centennial Park are being locked for a portion of each
day due to vandalism.
6. Old Business:
a. Klinefelter Natural Flora Preservation
The project is moving along as planned.
b. Millstream Budget Prioities:
1. Park Shelter:
John suggested the following for the 2017 budget:
$550,000 for construction of a new park shelter.
2. Dog Park
$30,000 for construction of a Dog Park. This includes $20,000 for fencing, $10,000 for
water access.
C. Other Budget Items for 2017
Included in the proposal for 2017 budget:
$40,000 for playground equipment at Millstream Park
$20,000 for access at East/West Park
$30,000 for Monument Park repairs (application for Legacy Grant)
For 2018 budget, we project$150,000 for a Performance Arena at Millstream Park.
d. Other Old Business:
The Grand Opening for Foot Golf at Northland Park will be held at 6:30 on September
27"'. Matt will get the refreshments.
Matt is still waiting for park photos from Park Board Members.
