AGENDA ITEM: Surplus Equipment
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Below is a list of Surplus Equipment
- 1-Small Pump/Motor.
- This past year we replaced the pump/motor on our Grass Rid
due to its age and the pump not working right. We kept the old
pump and would like to sell it as Surplus Equipment. The money
would go back into the equipment fund.
- Old Fire Gear.
- Keeping up with the NFPA Standard,we have been updating the
Fire Gear every ten years per member. We have tried to sell this
in the past on GovDeals.com with no interest in it. I would like to
Donate this gear to"The Message Program"who will then send it
to areas that either don't have any gear or cannot afford newer
gear. We have done this in the past.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: May get some money back from the sell of the pump to go back into
the equipment fund.

REQUESTED ACTION: Fire Board approve the Selling of the pump and the donation of gear
to"The Message Program".
