BACKGROUND INFORMATION: American Burger Bar has applied for an outdoor event on June
3, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 10:30 PM. The Ordinance requires a public hearing for music events that
extend beyond 9:30 PM and allows the music to go until midnight. The Burger Bar is only request to go
to 10:30. The application has been reviewed by the Police Chief with the following recommendations:
double fencing with entrance from inside only; the stage will face north with music ending at 10:30 PM;
the grounds to be cleaned no later than 8:00 AM June 5; and emergency exit to be staffed by employees.

Permit with the conditions identified by the Police Chief for an event to be held on June 3, 2017.

Administrator The St. Joseph City Council shail conduct a public hearing on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 6:00
PM at the St. Joseph Government Center. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the
Judy Weyrens issuance of an outdoor special event on June 3, 2017 for the American Burger Bar. All
persons wishing to be heard will be heard and oral testimony will be limited to five minutes.
Written testimony can be mailed to the City Administrator, 75 Callaway St E, St. Joseph, MN
