BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Sal’s Bar has applied for an outdoor event on June 24, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The Ordinance requires a public hearing for music events that extend beyond 8:00 PM and allows the music to go until midnight. Sal’s is only request to go to 11:00. The application has been reviewed by the Police Chief with the following recommendations: double fencing covering the parking area; hiring of 1 full time officer , alley to be barricaded; music will bend by 11 PM and the grounds to be cleaned no later than 8:00 AM June 25. 2017 BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: Sal’s Bar is responsible for the wages of the officers ATTACHMENTS: Request for Council Action Hearing Notice Application REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize the Mayor and Administrator to execute the Outdoor Permit with the conditions identified by the Police Chief for an event to be held on June 24. �� JL ��o ��JLJ�� www.cityofstjoseph.com City of St.Joseph Public Hearing Outdoor Special Events Administrator The St. Joseph City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph Government Center. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the Judy Weyrens issuance of an outdoor special event on June 24, 2017 for Sal's Bar and Grill.
