HomeMy WebLinkAbout[04c] Liquor Licenses Council Agenda Item 4c MEETING DATE: December 4, 2017 AGENDA ITEM: Liquor License – Requested Action: Issue Malt liquor, cigarette and amusement licenses based on the attached list for the license period January 1 2018 through December 31, 2018. SUBMITTED BY: Administration BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Annually the City Council approves the following business licenses: Cigarette, Amusement, and Off/On Sale malt liquor. Before they are placed on the list for Council approval, the required submittals have been received. The numbers on the attached list indicate the actual license number. If an establishment does not have a license number indicated they did not apply for that particular license. City Staff sends applications for all the business licenses and it is up to the business to determine which licenses they wish to make application for. The intoxicating licenses are considered by the Council in May of each year with a license period of July 1 to June 30 of each calendar year. With an intoxicating license, you can sell Malt Liquor without the additional license.
